DNA Methylation and its Biological Role in Plant

摘要 DNA甲基化是生物体内普遍存在的一种基因修饰现象,在生物体内发挥着重要的生物学功能。大量研究表明,DNA甲基化不仅可以遗传,而且存在特定的动态变化模式。综述了植物DNA甲基化的特点、模式以及它们与植物生长、发育和基因表达调控的关系。 DNA methylation,the most common DNA modification in eukaryotes,which plays an important regulation role in plant growth and development.Many research indicated that DNA methylation can be not only inherited,but also changed in specific patterns in plant.The characteristics and patterns of DNA methylation,and their functions involved in plant growth,development and regulation of gene expression are briefly discussed in the review.
