摘要
以瓦特发明蒸汽机为例,探讨科学和技术的紧密关系,并对工业革命的技术革命进行图示分析,认为工业革命的技术构成是加工机械、动力机械和应用机械,而科学家和工匠在这些方面是相辅相成的。指出中国在工业上的落后既有技术上的也有观念上的原因,在对人手进化分析的基础上,提出科学与技术的关系是"脑"与"手"的关系,二者对于人类发展缺一不可。
The paper discusses the relationship between science and technology, and takes the example of invention of Engine during the Industrial Revolution. The graph shows that the technical revolution can be divided into three parts： processing machine, power machine and applied machine, and the relationship between scientists and workers is complementary. There are two reasons why China fell behind, technique and idea. Finally the paper advance a perspective that the relation between science and technology can be simulated as the relation between human＇s brain and hand on the analysis of human hand＇s evolution. Both of them are indispensable for the social development.
