作者于1983年4月及1986年4月二次在香港检查该地区20个村庄11种淡水螺(共11680粒),及14个海区包括红树林地带和无红树林的海滩中的22种海产贝类(共12580粒)。查获26种吸虫幼虫期,其中12种见于淡水螺(5种〕,8种寄生于红树林地带的海螺(7种),5种寄生于无红树林海区的贝类(6种),1种见于在红树林地带和无红树林海滩生存的海螺(5种)。寄生淡水螺的吸虫幼虫期分隶于Cortrematidae;Maseniidae;Schistosomatidae;Notocotylidae;Strigeidae;Paramphi-stomidae;Plagiorchidae;Philophthalmidaes;Microphallidae及Heterophyidae等科。寄生于海产贝类的吸虫幼虫期分隶于Philophthalmidae; Heterophyidae;Fellodistomidae; Cyathoco-tylidae;Echinostomatidae;Opecoelidae等科及Plagiorchioidea总科。
This paper reports the results of investigations of larval trematodes infecting freshwater gastropods and marine molluscs of Hong Kong. A survey of trematode larvae from the freshwater gastropods at 20 sites in the New Territories, Hong Kong, was undertaken in April, 1983. A total of 11,680 specimens of 11 gastropod species, including 5,633 Biomphalaria stra-minea, were screened for parasites. Of particular interest was the possibility that the introduced schistosome vector, B. straminea, might harbour local or exotic trematode larvae. 12 species of trematode larvae were isolated and described from 5 of these snail species. B. nraminea harboured no parasites. Hippeutis cantanensis was infected with the greatest variety of trematodes.A survey of larval trematodes obtained from marine molluses was undertaken in April, 1986, along the coast shore of Hong Kong. 12,580 marine molluscs including 21 species of gastropods and one species of bivalve were collected from 14 sites. Of the 21 species of gastropods,11 species were collected from mangrove areas and 9 species of them harboured 9 species of larval trematodes. From beaches in the New Territories and some islands near Hong Kong,12 species of gastropods and one species of bivalve were examined. Of them 7 were found to be hosts for 6 species of trematode larvae.12 species of trematode larvae found from freshwater gastropods belong to Cortrematidae, Maseniidae, Schistosomatidae, Notocotylidae, Paramphistomidae, Strigeidae, Plagiorchidae, Philophthalmidae, Microphallidae and Heterophyidae. 14 species of larval trematodes found from marine molluscs belong to the families Philophthalmidae, Heterophyidae, Cyathocotylidae, Echi-nostomatidae, Opecoelidae, Fellodistomidae, and superfamily Plagiorchioidea.
