摘要
通过在金属氢化物镍蓄电池Ni(OH)2正极活性物质中分别机械添加不同含量的Er2O3和Lu2O3,研究了这两种稀土氧化物对Ni(OH)2正极高温性能的影响。充放电实验表明,添加不同量的稀土氧化物都会不同程度地改善Ni(OH)2正极在高温环境下的充电效率。添加1.5%Lu2O3或2%Er2O3的Ni(OH)2正极在高温下充电效率较高。循环伏安测试表明,添加稀土氧化物提高了Ni(OH)2正极在高温环境下的析氧副反应电位,从而提高了金属氢化物镍蓄电池Ni(OH)2正极在高温环境下的充电效率。
The effects of various percentages of Lu2O3and Er2O3as additives on the performance of nickel hydroxide electrodes were studied. Cyclic charge-discharge tests at different temperatures indicate that the charge efficiency of the nickel hydroxide electrodes with various percentages of Lu2O3 or Er2O3 at high temperature increased. While adding 1.5% Lu2O3or 2% ErgO3, the efficiency reached the optimum value. Cyclic voltammetry tests indicate that the oxygen evolution overpotential of the electrodes with 1.5% Lu2O3 at high temperatures increases by adding rare earth oxide, as a result that the charge efficiency increases.
