摘要
层出不穷的当代文化危机与科学的发展具有直接或间接的关联,因此对当代文化批判的理论往往被等同于对科学文化的批判。当代文化批判理论的实际对象应当是科技理性的僭越和科学主义的滥觞,而非科学和科学精神。因为科学主义虽然极力推崇科学和理性、贬斥非科学和非理性,但从本源上看,它不但违背了科学精神,而且大大损害了科学精神。当代文化需要科学和科学精神,科学的怀疑批判精神、开放进取精神、平等宽容精神、理性负责精神将为当代文化应对危机、实现转型提供积极有效的文化资源。
Various contemporary cultural crises are directly or indirectly related to the development of science,thus contemporary social and cultural criticism has been regarded as criticism of science.However,the real object of contemporary cultural criticism is scientism and technological rationality rather than science and scientific spirits.Scientism,in essence,violates and damages scientific spirits,but the criticism of scientism cannot be equaled to that of science and scientific spirits.The contemporary culture needs to be revitalized with scientific spirits of skepticism and critique,opening and enterprising spirit,equality and tolerance,and reason and responsibility.
