手巾寮是一种独具地方特色的传统民居类型。它面宽狭窄,纵深修长,连片成街,可视为传统"街屋"和当代"店宅"的一种原型。该文对手巾寮的单体空间进行了多层次、多角度的分析和阐释,并指出了其群体组合在城市设计、城市规划上简明而深刻的意义。
Shou-jin-liao （Zonary Bungalow） is a type of traditional dwelling with unique local flavor. It is narrow in facade, long in depths, continuous into street, and can beregarded as a prototype of traditional and modern shopping- house. The paper analyzes the individual space of Shou-jin-liao from multilayer and multi-angle, then dictates the concise and profound significance of their group in urban design and urban plan.
