The Google Earth satellite remote-sensing photo downloaded from network, which is more approaching to practical topography, is used to carry out reconnaissance of work area and design of construction in the early days of petroleum exploration. The paper introduced in detail the methods and steps that uses Google Earth to carry out the design of construction.
