摘要
图像配准是信息融合处理中非常重要的一个环节。图像的配准,尤其是遥感图像的配准,运用传统的方法,计算量大且配准精度不高。基于小波理论,提出了一种快速、高精度图像配准的新方法。该方法利用小波变换将图像分成若干层次,通过引入有效子图的概念来降低待搜索的数据量,应用小波理论的多分辨分析思想来缩小搜索空间,最后通过迭代求精算法实现了图像的快速、高精度配准。实验结果表明,该方法对大数据量的遥感图像,较之传统的方法具有明显的优越性。
Image registration is one of the crucial steps in the fusion processing of image. Image registration, especially for remote sensing image, requires intensive computational efforts while the registration precision is not satisfying generally. This paper introduces a novel image registration method based on the wavelet with excellent performance. The method reduces the data to search via decomposing the image to several effectual subimages by the wavelet, then reduces the searching space through multi-resolution analysis, and refine the solution using an iterative refinement algorithm finally. Experimental results of remote sensing and optical images show that the proposed algorithm outperforms conventional approaches in terms of both computational effort and precision.
