The Value and significance of using pyrite slag as the material of iron - smelting is discussed. It is found that the process of treating pyrite slag with mineral processing is not feasi-ble in economy and technology. The feasible method is that the pyrite concentrate should be cleaned to the grade of over 46%, so the TFe content of the slag after making acid can be over 60%,Which can meet the requirement of iron -smelting.
