摘要
本文记述采自云南省瑞丽地区蝗虫新属龙川蝗属Longchuanacris gen.nov.及新种巨尾片龙川蝗 L.macrofurculus sp.nov.该新属近似于 Pseudogerunda Bey-Bienko.主要区别为前胸背板侧片后缘极凹入;前翅到达第一腹节背板的后缘;后足股节下膝侧片顶刺状:后足附节第3节长度为第1、2节长度之和;雄性腹部末节背板具尾片。
This paper reports a new genus and a new species of grasshopper from Yunnan Province. Type specimen is deposited in the Department of Biology, Shaanxi Normal University.Longchuanacris gen. nov.Size small. Head shorter than pronotum. The width of interocular space about 1.5 times longer than the width of frontal ridge between antennae. Face slightly oblique in profile, with distinct sulcus throughout; facial lateral carinae obvious. Antennae long, overrun the posterior margin of pronotum. Eyes long oval. Pronotum cylindrical, posterior margin distinctly excised, median keel low, lateral keels absent, the length of prozona 2.5 times the length of metazona; lateral lobes slightly longer than high, posterior margin distinctly excised. Prosternal spine long conical. Mesosternal lobes wider than long, metasternal lobes contiguous. Elytra squamiform, lateral, reaching the posterior margin of the 1st abdominal tergite. Upper carinae of hind femur smooth, the tip of lower kneelobes spine like. Hind tibia without outer apical spine. The second joint of hind tarsi shorter than first joint, the length of third joint equal to the first and second together. Tympanum distinct, oval. The posterior margin of the last tergite with large furcula. Anal plate shield-like. Cercus long conical. Subgenital plate short conical, apex point.Female unknown.Type species: Longchuanacris macrafurculus sp. nov.This new genus is allied to Pseudogerunda B.-Bineko, but differs from the latter by the posterior margin of the lateral lobes of pronotum distinctly excised; elytra reaching the posterior margin of the 1st abdominal tergite; tip of lower kneelobes spine like; the length of third joint of hind tarsi equal to first and second together; the posterior margin of the last tergite of male with large furcula.Longchuanacris macrofurculus sp. nov.
