摘要
对于公共支出和经济增长两者的因果关系,经济理论并不能给出一致的答案。本文在已有研究的基础上,考察了中国的这一问题,并使用了一些新的检验手段。经验结果显示:中国的公共支出和经济增长之间不存在协整关系和因果关系,政府公共支出既不是国民经济内生决定的,也不对国民经济起引导作用。在中国,强势政府公共支出的结构不合理现象可能是上述现象的原因。
Keynesian view is not consistent with Wagner＇ s in the causality between public expenditure and economic growth. Economic theory can＇t present a perfect answer about the problem. In this paper, the causal relationship of them in china is examined based past researches using some new approach. Empirical result shows there is no cointegration relationship and causal relationship between Chinese public expenditure and economic growth. Government＇ s public expenditure is not determined by national economy, nor leads national economy. In China, strong power government and improper public expenditure structure may be the key factor of the phenomena.
