摘要
在移动通信中,功率放大器是典型的非线性放大器,为提高功率放大器的效率和抑制带外功率辐射,要求调制信号的峰均比尽可能地小。CQPSK调制方案是一个应用于W-CDMA和CDMA2000前向链路中的调制技术,能有效地降低峰均比,提高功率放大器的效率,降低带外辐射功率。本文在说明复扰码原理的基础上,详细地分析了CQPSK调制信号峰均比减小的原因、其相对于QPSK调制方式对峰均比的改善程度以及为功率放大器设计带来的好处。
In mobile communication,the High Power Amplifier(HPA) is typically a non - linear amplifier. In order to reduce out of band power leakage and increase the efficiency of HPA, Peak - to - average power ratio (PAR) of modulation signal must be as small as possible. CQPSK modulation scheme has been proposed as the forward link modulating technique for WCDMA and CDMA2000. This scheme can effectively reduce PAR, increase the efficiency of the HPA and reduce out - of- band power re.growth. In this paper,we propose the principle of complex scrambling, analyze the PAR reduction of CQPSK signal. Lastly we discuss the benefit brought by CQPSK for HPA design.
