The jewelry industry is a globally important business, with total annual sale of over ten billion US dollars in the world. Gemstone mining and marketing are in growing trend worldwide. Although gem shows and TV shopping networks remain dominant ways for jewelry marketing, online competition and direct sale will reshape the industry, with more and more companies appearing on the Internet. The success of a jeweler′s WWW website greatly depends on its design. China will play a more important role in the international jewelry trade.
