摘要
记述癞叶蝉属Moonia Distant2新种,即齿缘癞叶蝉M.serrata sp.nov.,刺茎癞叶蝉M.spinapenis sp.nov.。新种模式标本保存于贵州大学昆虫研究所。
In this paper,two new species of the genus Moonia Distant are described from China.The type specimens are deposited in the Institute of Entomology,Guizhou University.
1 Moonia serrata sp. nov. (Figs. 1-9) Boby length (ind. tegm.): ♂ 4.8-5.0 ram, ♀ 5.1-5.3 mm. Vertex, face, pronoturn, scutellm and tegmen pitted. Vertex shorter medially than sides, where k is somewhat broadly and deeply grooved; ocelli placed on front just beneath the anterior margin of vertex, nearer toeach other than to eyes. Pronotum somewhat gibbous, foveately depressed on each lateral area; scutellum small, about half the length of pronotum; tegemen moderately broad, passing apex of abdomen, veins coarse and prominent. Body pale smoky brown. Eyes picexsus cenwal pordon of the pronutum and scuteUum blackish brown. Fore wing pale smoky brown, veins dark brown to piceous with pale yellow spots. Holotype ♂ , paratypes 9♂♂ , 6♀♀, Leigongshan (26°24'N, 108°04'E), Guizhou Province, 12-15 Aug. 2005, coll. by LI Zi-Zhong and ZHANG Bin. This new species is similar to Moonia hyboma Cai et Kuoh in apperance, but can be distinguished from the latter by the middle of pronoturn lacks centrally longitudinally carinate, the ventral margin of aedeagus with minute teeth and each inside of the pygofer side with a nipple-like process. Etymology. This new species name is from Latin sara, referring ventral margin of aedeagus with teeth. 2 Moonia spinapenis sp. nov. (Figs. 10-14) Body length (ind. teg.): ♂ 2-3.4mm, ♀3.6-3.8 mm. General appearance as in Moonia serrata sp. nov. Pronotum with a finely centrally longitudinally carina, body pale cinereous. Vertex pale cinereous, its basal margin pale brown, middle area of anterior margin of pronoturn pale. Fore wing pale smoky brown, with a transverse pale line, veins dark brown with pale yellow spots. Holotype ♂ , paratypes 4 ♂♂, 1 ♀, Jianfengling ( 18°28'N, 108°17'E), Hainan Province, 15 May 1997, coll. by YANG Mao-Fa. This new species is dose to Moonia dbmnaadata Li, but can be distinguished from latter by forewing with a pale transverse line, middle area of pronotum pale, each inside of pygofer side with two lobe-like processes.
