Qing dynasty fulfilled some positive and effective measures to protect and utilize water and soil resources, forest resources, mineral resources, including land reclamation, construction of irrigation works, development of ecological agriculture, forest planting, strengthening the laws, setting up the organizations of environmental conservation, etc.
