摘要
为了探索一种新的缝合材料,于1989年初对人发进行了一系列的基础研究,发现人发具有很多特点,人发浸入水中百日不膨胀变形,180°返折千次不断裂,埋入兔体内3~150天无明显异物巨细胞反应;表面光洁、粗细适中,结构致密,性质极稳定;抗拉力强,富有弹韧性;生物相容性极好,无毒无刺激性。人发可以说是一种天然的人类自我修复的缝合材料。经过反复研究,加工精制成多种型号,针线为一体的无菌、无损伤、无瘢痕的新型医用缝线。1990年1月应用于临床,经1438例缝合观察,均取得了满意效果,无1例感染。认为人发缝线具有如下优点:①来源广泛,物美价廉;②创面易保持清洁,不易感染;③持结性能好,抗拉力强;④愈后没有蜈蚣足样瘢痕,优于常用缝线,亦优于无损伤缝线,具有广泛的使用价值。
An atraumatic suture material was manufactured from human hair, which has been tested and used in 1438 clinical cases with satisfactory results. The authors found that the suture has the following characteristics: smooth thin, strong and elastic, structurally steady, histocompatible, atoxic, aseptic, atraumatic and can standing more than one thousand times of bending. It does not swell in water or blood, nor it causes reaction after being buried in tissue for 150 days. It has an advantage definitely over the silk and nylon. The rich resources of hair favors its wide applications.
