摘要
城市规划不仅是一门学科，更是一项社会实践活动，城市规划的存在与发展依托它对社会所起的作用和对实践成果不断地进行总结的基础上．由于过去的城市规划实践很少对这一过程作一番研究，而在城市规划教育中所涉及的原理、原则、方法、手法等则又都带有先验假定的色彩，至于对社会是否有用，能否被社会所接受和起到作用则不作研究，在这种城市规划实践和城市规划教育思想基础上编制出的城市规划，其可实践性的程度就很值得怀疑。在新时期，城市规划教育要想拓展构筑完整的知识框架，关键要树立以实践导向为基础的城市规划教育体系，这应是当今我国城市规划教育改革的重点。
his paper expounds the focal point of reformation of urban planning education on current China. It is to set up an educational system of urban planning that is based on the principle of practice orientation and practice guidance.
