During the period of February 1990 to March 1996, pulmonary lobectomy was performed and accessory treatment of respirator was applied in 25 cases of pulmnonary carcinoma with pulmonary hypofunction. The results showed that the operative indication of pulmonary hypofunction patient could be expanded appropriately if the accessory treatment of respirator was applied properly.
