From September 1992 to September 1996, 62 cases of traumatic epidural hematoma in childhood were treated. 57 cases of them were operated, and 3 cases died. Headach and vomiting were the most common symptoms, and deteriorated conciousness and anemia were the important clues of early diagnosis.
