59 patients with sexually transmitted disease were tested for gonococcus and chlamydia trachomatis by monoclonal antibody method. 55 patients were positive (19 gonococcus, 24 chlamydia trachomatis and 11 mixed germs). 5 patients and 10 controls were negative. The results showed that this method was quick, sensitive, specific and convenient.
