2007年6月1日～4日，中共中央政治局常委、全国政协主席贾庆林在广西调研时强调，集中各方面的智慧和力量，推动北部湾经济区开放开发，努力实现经济社会又好又快发展。
Beibu Gulf is half seal bay in northweast of south sea, The bay backs on Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, The east side of it is Guangdong Province （the Leizhou peninsula） and Hainan Province （Hainan Island） ,and the West of it is Vietnam,the total of it is approximately 129,300 square kilometers. China＇s president Hu Jintao said：the ＂article＂ of Pan-Beibu Gulf cooperation may be written very well.This article will discuss the developing model of Pan-Beibu gulf （Guangxi）
