A 22-year-old woman with infection received cefiazidime 3.0 g by intravenous drip. One hour after the initiation of the infusion, she developed distending pain of toes, toothache, chest distress, and perioral numbness. The infusion was stopped immediately. She was given antianaphylaxis therapy, About one and a half hour later, the symptoms resolved.
