摘要
现有的VOD系统面临诸多问题:它们大多覆盖范围偏小,各自为战,相互之间不能兼容协作,形成一个个的信息孤岛,难以进一步升级扩展。结合网格技术,提出一个网格环境下城域网范围内的VOD系统解决方案,详细描述了其硬件组成及网络拓扑结构、系统运作流程和开发实现细节。
The existing VOD systems face many problems: most of them can only serve a small area, and can’t cooperate with each other. So they become isolated like many information islands and it’s hard for them to upgrade. Based on the grid technologies, this paper, suggest a solution to VOD Systems in the enviroment of grid within a metropolis. The hardware configuration, the network topology, interactions among the main components of the VOD system and the details during development are described.
