摘要
60年代和70年代是岩石力学实验飞速发展的时期。大量的实验均在实验室内用小样品进行。1977年美国斯坦福会议首先提出开展现场大尺度实验的必要性。1981年美国伯克利会议交流了美国大尺度岩石力学实验的初步成果,并全面地论证了这一研究课题的必要性和可行性,呼吁美国科学基金会资助。与此同时,苏联进行了少量大尺度岩石力学实验。我国从80年代中期起开展了一系列现场大尺度岩石力学实验研究。1987年武都会议总结了研究的初步成果并协调了下一步工作。目前此方面的实验正在继续进行。
The 1960s and 1970s were the periods of rapid strides in rock mechanics experiments. Large numbers of experiments were made with small samples in Iaboratories.In 1977 the necessity of large scale experiments in the field was first put forward at the Stanford meeting,USA.In 1981 preliminary results of large scale rock mechanics experiments in the United States were exchanged,the necessity and feasibility of the research subject were comprehensively proved,and funding for this subject was appealed to the U.S.Na- tional Science Foundation.At the same time,a number of large scale rock mechanics experiments in the field were beginning to be made in China from the mid-1980s.In 1987 preliminary research results were summed up and the next tasks were coordinated at the Wudu meeting.At present experiments in this field are being continuously made.
