摘要
简要介绍了TI的定点多媒体处理芯片TMS320DM642的特点及H.264编解码器实现的硬件系统结构。说明了系统软件任务流程和工作原理,并重点阐述了在基于DM642平台上的H.264视频编解码器的实现和优化。实验结果表明,优化后可以实现CIF格式图像的实时处理,并能保持较高的图像质量和压缩效率。
The paper briefly introduces the features of Video/Imaging Fixed-Point Digital Signal Processor TMS320DM642 and the hardware structure of H .264 codec, and analyzes the software task flowchart and principle. Then the implementation and optimization of Video codec on TMS320DM642 is mainly discussed. Experiment results show that the realtine processing of CIF images can be realized while the high image quality and compression efficiency are preserved.
