Adaptive Modulation and Demodulation in OFDM System

摘要 OFDM以其频谱利用率高、抗多径干扰能力强等特点在高速数据通信领域获得了广泛应用,但是固定调制解调技术没有实现带宽资源的有效利用。自适应OFDM调制解调根据信道估计的结果对比特与功率进行动态分配以达到充分利用频带资源、提高系统整体性能的目的。对OFDM自适应调制解调的基本原理及其关键技术进行了较为全面的分析。 Due to its high spectrum efficiency and anti-muhipath traits, OFDM technology is widely used in high rate data communication field. However, because of the predetermined modulation and demodulation of each sub-carrier, the bandwidth resource is not effectively utilized. Based on accurate estimation of channel, OFDM adaptive modulation and demodulation can fully utilize the frequency resource and greatly improve system performance by allocating bits and power dynamically. This article introduces the basic principle and key technologies of adaptive OFDM modulation and demodulation.
