摘要
本文介绍了一个工程数据库管理系统ENITDB的设计及其实现技术。ENITDB是建立在NITDB关系数据库管理系统上,面向CAD应用的工程数据库管理系统。ENITDB提供了类似于SQL的数据描述语言和数据操纵语言ESQL。这种语言不仅具有工程数据库中常用的数据类型,而且还具有描述工程对象结构的能力。
This paper presents the design of ENITDB, an engineering data base management system, for CAD applications, and introduces the techniques for the realization of the ideas embedded in the design. ENITDB is established on the relational data base management system NITDB. A language ESQL with data definition and data manipulation functions is provided in ENITDB system. The language not only have various data types often used in engineering data base, but also can describe the structures of engineering objects.
