摘要
指纹的细节特征是指纹识别的重要依据,为提高指纹识别的速度和准确度,提出了基于离散小波变换的指纹特征提取方法。通过对指纹图像的每行进行多次haar离散小波变换,对所获得的特征向量再进行离散小波变换,最终得到指纹的特征向量,有效节省运算量,增强指纹识别系统的实时性。
The fingerprint munutiae feature is the important informtion in the fingerprint identification system. Base on wavelet transform, this paper introduces a method of fingerprint minutiae extraction, to improve the efficiency of fingerprint identification. The method is using wavelet decomposition in the pre - processing of fingerprint image. Experimental results have verified that this method is effective in getting minutiae feature.
