摘要
针对无线传感器网络机动能力的不足,提出一种具有机动能力的网络节点设计方法,并成功实现了移动节点样机Racemote。将该移动节点加入静态传感器网络中,能够解决目前无线传感器网络研究中存在的许多问题,可以拓展和增强传感器网络的功能。使用商业化组件方式设计的硬件平台具有较好的稳定性和可升级性,以嵌入式操作系统TinyOS为基础的软件平台简化了底层的硬件操作,使得应用程序开发更加方便快捷。验证实验结果表明,Racemote成功实现了基本的平面运动,可以很好地应用于无线传感器/执行器网络或移动传感器网络的平台搭建与实验研究。
This paper addresses the problem of enabling mobility in wireless sensor networks. A method for mobile node design is proposed and a prototype node is implemented which is named Racemote. Adding Racemote into the static sensor networks can enhance the functionality of the sensor networks and can help solving many of the research problems of static sensor networks. The hardware platform is built from commercial off-the-shell modules, which shows good stability and scalability. The software architecture is based on the embedded operating system TinyOS which simplifies hardware driver design and application programming. The experimental results show that Racemote is capable of planar motion and can be used in the research of wireless sensor and actuator networks or mobile sensor networks.
