摘要
为了使数值预报中心的研究人员和研究生能够了解数值预报的历史、发展以及现今研究的最前沿，灾害天气国家重点实验室数值预报研究部2006年底举行了“数值预报理论基础”系列讲座。讲座每星期两次，邀请了我国在数值模式方面做出突出成绩和贡献的老专家，如中科院大气物理所的纪立人、陈嘉滨先生，从数值预报的基础公式和数值解法，一直到国内外的最新研究成果进行了完整的介绍。
