摘要
在学生人数迅速增加、教育质量下降、不同种族之间教育不公平的现象继续扩大的情况下,美国从20世纪80年代末发起了“标准化教育”的改革运动。改革的目标是建立比较统一的教育标准和课程及其相匹配的教育评价系统。改革迄今已取得了一定的成就,学生学术课程的考试成绩有了明显提高,教育不公平的现象也有了一定的改善。但是,科学而合理的统一教育标准和课程还没有真正建立起来,迫于提高成绩的压力,评价也常常与标准和课程背离。这些都预示了这场改革今后的前进方向。
A "standard-based education" reform was launched in the United States from the 1980's. It was implemented due to the fast increasing of the number of students, the decreasing of education quality, and the ongoing sharpening of the unequal education condition between different races. The purposes of the reform were to set up unified educational standards and courses, and an educational evaluation system aligning with it. So far the reform has made some progress, such as the salient arising of students' score of academic courses, and the improvement of unequal education to some extent. However, the scientific unified education standards and curriculum have not come into reality really, and assessments are also often deviated from unified education standards and curriculum due to external pressure to improve students' score. And these are directions of the reform in the later years.
