摘要
本文从议程设置、外交决策、国家形象等方面探讨了国际新闻的政治功能。作者认为,在全球化背景下,国际新闻是政府、媒介和公众议程设置的对象和工具,是外交决策的重要信息源之一,也有助于外交决策的透明化和国家形象的提升。
The thesis explores the political function of international news foreign policy formulating and national image improving, according to the role of international news in agenda setting.The author puts forward that international news is both the object and tool of agenda setting by government, media and public. International news is one of the important resources for governmem while formulating foreign policy. International news can also make the process of foreign policy formulating more transparent and improve the national image.
