摘要
本文意在通过再讨论、再反省指出，既往韩国史对日本殖民时期韩国社会状况的认识框架是以大有问题的二元对立认识框架为基础的。但一个社会是不可能只由此两种方式构成的，因此对日帝时期韩国社会状况进行重新认识便变得不可或缺。为突破现有的二元认识框架，本文提出了覆盖宽广的“灰色地带”等问题，认为，跟“剥削”和“反抗”这一套概念比起来，在对殖民支配既承认又反抗的矛昏性中共存的“协助”这个认识模式，将更有助于我们深入理解此历史；
Our understanding of Korean society in the Japanese colonial period has been characterized by naive dualism. We use the dualistic concept of ＂exploitation＂ and ＂resistance＂ to conceptualize the social reality of that period. In fact, as this author suggests, there are grey zones in which accommodation and assistance exist. We need to look closer into the different grades of history.
