摘要
语音通信是多媒体通信的基础,为了提高语音通信的效率与质量,对高质量低位率静音压缩算法G.729B进行了研究,将该算法移植到TI公司最新一代定点数字信号处理器TMS320DM642上,并讨论了其在TMS320DM642上优化的关键技术,最终实现了高效率的语音编解码器。通过试验证明,G.729B在借助TMS320DM642的情况下,传输位率大大降低,并且保持了较高的语音音质,有利于实现高质量的多媒体通信。
Phonetic communication is the base of multimedia communication. In order to improve the efficiency and quality of phonetic communication, the good quality low-bit-rate silence compression algorithm G, 729B is studied, and the algorithm has been transplanted in the newest fixed-point digital signal processor TMS320DM642 of TI. The critical technology of the optimization in TMS320DM642 is discussed. Thus the high efficient phonetic encoder is implemen^d. The experiment shows that cooperating with TMS320DM642, G, 729B lowers the transmission bit-rate, at the same time keeps higher phonetic quality. This will be helpful for high-quality multimedia communication.
