Poly(aspartic acid) (PASP)being biodegradable is suitable for various industrial medical and agricultural applications to replace many non - biodegradable polymers in use. In this article, different methods of synthesizing polyaspartic acid and its derivatives were mentioned. The advantages and disadvantages were pointed out. In the end, the direction of research in the future was predicted.
