摘要
对2对笼养黄腹角雉繁殖期行为的观察研究表明，雌、雄鸟进入繁殖期后，活动强度都明显提高，每天存在2个活动高峰．雄鸟求偶炫耀（包括完全和不完全炫耀）在3月中、下旬达到高潮，并随着雌鸟产卵发生周期性变化．每天有2个求偶炫耀高峰．雌鸟于3月下旬进入发情产卵期．雄鸟用嘴衔住雌鸟头顶或颈、肩部的羽毛完成交配．对同笼异性和不同笼同性角雉繁殖期行为发生的频次和持续时间等进行了比较分析．
The behaviours of two pain of Cabot's Tragopan (Tragopon caboti) were studied in breeding season. The results showed that both sexes' activities increased obviously with the breeding season coming up, and there were two peaks in a day. The male reached to its climax of courtship display (including complete and incomplete display) in middle and late March, and there existed a periodic flunctuation of display with the female laying more than one clutch. There were two peaks of courtship display in a day. The female went into oestrus and egg-laying period in late March. The male copulated with female with the feathers on the head, neck or shoulders of female in his mouth. The ferquency and duration of behaviors of the opposite sexes in same cage and the same sex in different cages were compared respectively.
