Lyman-Alpha高斯柱形光子胚胎的传播模型

Propagation Model of the Cylindrical Lyman-Alpha Gaussian Photon Embryo

摘要 定性地提出了Lyman-Alpha(Lyα)光子"胚胎"的高斯柱形模型,按照高斯光束的电磁传播理论,探讨了它在生成早期的传播图象.首先阐述了这种模型的物理原因,研究了Lyα高斯柱形光子"胚胎"的衍射发散程度,得出了与直觉所期望的不一致的结果;随后改进了该模型,提出了两步式传播图象,得出了具有横向光子局域化、衍射距离长、物理上相对合理的光子模型. A cylindrical profile with a Gaussian cross section for the Lyman- Alpha (Lyα) photon "embryo" is suggested qualitatively, and a propagation picture of the Lyα photon "embryo" is investigated according to the electromagnetic theory of a Gaussian light beam. After demonstrating the physical reason of this model, we study the diffractive expansion of the Lyα photon "embryo" and obtain an unphysical outcome about its cross section. Being an improvement of the above - mentioned model, a two - step propagation model is further used to show a physically reasonable photon structure with transverse photon localization and long diffraction distance.
