Fluoroalcohols, as important aliphatic fluorine-containing intermediates, are widely used in solvents, pesticide, medicine, coloring matter and advanced material. Latest advances in synthesis of fluoroalcohols were reviewed, including hydroreduction, oxidation, hydrolysis and telomerization.
