摘要
传统的客户/服务器结构应用于大型信息处理系统时,存在扩展性差、维护成本高、升级困难等缺点。采用基于CORBA(Common Object Request Broker Architecture)应用服务器的3层结构极大地扩展了两层结构在功能上的不足,一定程度上解决了业务逻辑与表现逻辑分离的问题。为此,设计和实现了一个基于CORBA的应用服务器。它由POA业务逻辑、数据库服务模块、支撑服务模块、服务器的管理与维护以及CORBA代理接口等组成。
Traditional Client/Server model exhibits a lot of defects such as poor expansibility, high support and maintenance costs, and difficult to upgrade when applying to large management information system. The threetier model of application server based on CORBA （ Common Object Request Broker Architecture） extends the two-tier model in the function. It resolves the separation of the transaction logic and representation logic in a certain extent. The application server based on CORBA is presented. It is made up of POA transaction logic, database service, support service, management and maintenance of server and CORBA client agent interface.
