碟形铜离子络合物液晶的红外光谱表征 被引量:1

INFRARED SPECTROSCOPIC CHARACTERIZATION OF DISCOTIC LIQUID CRYSTAL OF COPPER ION COMPLEX

摘要 用红外光谱法考察了对十二烷氧基苯取代的β-二酮类碟形Cu(Ⅱ)离子络合物在升温时从结晶态到液晶态,再到各向同性相转变过程中分子结构的变化。许多谱带以频率位移,吸收强度的变化描述了该化合物的相转变。发现了该碟形液晶分子中的(作为中心硬核结构里的)苯环的构象在这些相转变中有相当明显的变化。该分子中的四个苯环可能形成的接近平面的中心硬核结构,只存在于液晶态。 Infrared spectra of the bis β-diketonato copper (Ⅱ) complex have been studied in heating process to examine changes in molecular structures of the discotic from the crystalline state to the mesophase, then to the isotropic phase. Many spectral bands of the sample showing significant changes in the band frequencies and the band intensities, described the phase transitions, most of the interesting bands of the complex were assigned to correspondent chemical groups and vibration modes. As a result, it has been found that the benzene rings linked to the chelate ring as part of the centre core in the molecule underwent a considerable conformational variation during the phase transitions. The spectral data indicate that a big quasiplanar core structure possibly formed by the four benzene rings and the chelate rings exists only in the mesophase.
