摘要 本文主要根据美国NOAA等单位出版的“ClimateDiagnosticsBuletin”(CDB)资料,对最近刚结束的1994/1995ENSO事件以及1996年现状和发展趋势作一分析和描述。结果指出,1994/1995ENSO事件是1988/1989反厄尔尼诺结束以来发生的第3次ENSO事件,随着这次事件的结束,日更线附近以东至南美沿岸,结束了持续5a多的暖期,这在过去百多年中是空前的,而开始进入冷期,并已持续近1a。根据统计和数值模式预报,冷状态仍将持续,至少到1996年年底前后。 Based on the ADCP data obtained from the first cruise of China World Ocean Circulation Experiment (CWOCE, Nov. 15~Dec.20, 1991) together with the ACM subsurface current data published by Japan Meteorogical Agency (Jan. 20~Feb. 15, 1992),the features of sea current in the sea area east of the Philippines are described in this paper. Meanwhile, the volume transports of the geostrophic current in each section were calculated by using geostrophic method. The origins of the North Equatorial Counter Current (NECC), the Kuroshio and the Mindanao Current are discussed in combination with the distribution of salinity. The calculations and analysis show that there were three sea areas with strong current during the investigation: they were the sea areas of the origins of the kuroshio, the Mindanao coast and the NECC, respectively. Besides, the features of the sea current during the surveying period are basically similar to those during the 1986/1987 ENSO event.
