An introduction, to the thermal system and the pertaining equipment, together with their particuterities, of Zhenhai Power Plant＇s S109FA gas-steam combined cycle power generating set, is being presented. The functions, buildup, as weLl as the particularities, of the control system are delineated in details, together with the design of the auxiliary push bottons for emergency manual manipulation, with which sure stoppage of the set can be warranted, in case the control system ineurrs a total break down or serious fault.
