Research on Ultimate Bearing Capacity of Short Columns

摘要 在地震作用下,短柱常因刚度较大、变形较小而率先受到破坏。近三十年虽已有大量研究,但最近一些大地震的震灾表明,短柱研究的必要性并未过时。本文以德国达姆施塔特工大(THD)所做的12个短柱试验为基础,并归纳了其它研究者的约SO个试验数据,分析了主要参数对短柱极限承载能力的影响,提出了建议的计算模型。本文建议的是弯曲与行架混合模型,考虑了弯和剪以及钢筋的粘结滑移。计算与试验符合良好。 Short columns are frequently first damaged under earthguakes, since their stiffnesses arelarger but the deformability and capacity of energy dissipation are smaller than the other members. The recent earthquake disasters have shown that the reseaech work of short columns is stillimportant.Based on 12 short column tests done in THD, Germany, as well as about 50 tests of other researchers and the analysis of the effects of main parameters on ultimate bearing capacity ofcolumns, a new analysis model is suggested in this paper. In this beam-truss combined model,bending and shear are considered. Additionally, the bond-slip effect is considered as well. The results of analysis coincides well with those of the tests.
