摘要
通过对国外60年代流行的一种英语教学法——全身反应教学法的定义、背景、原理、具体步骤及其在语言教学中的运用作了简单的介绍。提出了在中国语境下,尤其在基础英语教学中,广大教师值得大力推广这种新型方法——"TPR"教学法。为全面提高基础英语教学质量作了理论和实践上的探讨。
This paper is intended to present a simple introduction to an English teaching approach ——Total Physical Response （TPR）—— popular in language teaching in foreign countries in 1960s in terms of its definition, background, principle, teaching steps and application in language teaching.This method should be adopted in language teaching to improve teaching.
