随着国内经济的发展，道路条件越来越好，卡车驾驶员们已经习惯了在高速公路或宽敞的普通道路上驰骋，而山区公路依然是坡陡、弯急、路窄。不少驾驶员由于缺乏山路驾驶经验，初次驶入山区后吃了大亏，酿下了无可挽回的车祸或人为地造成了卡车的故障。笔者在大别山区从事交通警察工作多年，与山区驾驶员交流甚多，汲取了一些山区道路驾驶经验，
Roads in most mountainous areas feature narrow, small bends and frequent slopes that increase the chances of traffic accidents if a driver does not have enough driving experience in such mountainous areas. The author summarizes his many years of experience as a traffic policeman in mountain areas and lists out several tips for driving trucks on mountain roads such as driving on slopes, Z-type bends and night driving, etc.
