摘要
利用同核异质粳稻不育系研究不育细胞质的遗传效应及核背景对其的影响。结果表明:①不育细胞质在与不育性密切相关的性状上,如结实率、株高表现明显的负效应,单株产量的负效应及千粒重的正效应则为结实率降低而引起的相关效应;不育细胞质对抽穗期、单株穗数、每穗总粒数的效应不明显。②不同不育细胞质在同一核背景下的效应程度不一样,野败型细胞质的效应较BT型细胞质更为显著。③不育系的细胞核对不育细胞质效应无明显影响;而父本的细胞核对不育细胞质效应的影响极显著,同时还存在不育系与父本之间的质核。
Two sets of homonucleus alloplasmic male sterile lines(Nanjing 11 A and Nanjing 34 A) with four kinds of cytoplasms and their maintainers in japonica were crossed to six indica or japonica varieties with various restoring ability. The genetic effects of different male sterile cytoplasms and the influence of different nuclear backgrounds on these effects were studied. The results are as follows: ①The significant negative cytoplasmic effects were observed on the characters closely correlated with sterility, such as seed setting percentage and plant height. The negative effect on grain yield per plant and the positive effect on 1 000 grain weight were correlated with effects of seed setting percentage.The cytoplasmic effects on heading date, panicle number per plant and spikelet number per panicle were not significant(Table l, 2 and 3). ②The level of effects on different cytoplasms was different in the same nuclear background. The cytoplasmic effects of WA type(Hainan male sterile wild rice) and WC type(Hainan red awned wild rice) cytoplasms were more significant on major characters than that of BT type(Chinsurah Boro Ⅱ) and D Ⅲtype(Yunnan E Shan Dabaigu)cytoplasms. Only the effects of BT and D Ⅲ type cytoplasms were very significant on seed setting percentage (Table 3).③The cytoplasmic effects were not affected by the nucleus of the sterile lines, but were very significantly affected by the nucleuses of the males. In addition, cytoplasmic nuclear and nucleo nuclear interactions were observed between the sterile lines and the males(Table 4).
