摘要
作为世俗才子,白居易得享大名,且为风雅所系,其一生行事大率皆蕴含着丰富的社会文化信息。白氏诗歌中"小蛮"一词,历来聚讼纷纭,其实"蛮"概指艳丽殊俗、细腰纤纤、能歌善舞之域外乐舞人。白居易以"小蛮"名其侍姬,实际上彰显了当时崇尚外来歌舞、文化的一种社会文化心理特征,从一个侧面揭示了唐代对外来文化之汲取,兼收并蓄,遂培植于本土文化,从而形成新文化繁盛的开放格局。
Bai Juyi＇s life is loaded with plentiful social and cultural information. In hid poems, the word ＂Xiaoman＂ has been discussed by many generations. This paper believes that ＂man＂ refers to gorgeous and slender dancer from foreign countries. Bai Juyi named his concubine ＂Xiaoman＇, which shows a kind of social and cultural psychology of the then people advocating foreign culture. This also suggests that in the Tang Dynasty people incorporated things of different culture, and developed them in local culture.
