摘要
沐氏家族在奉诏镇守云南的280年间,大力推行驻军屯田、移民垦殖、招民垦种,重视发展水利事业、道路交通,关注手工业和商业,设法苏解军民之困,为恢复和发展云南社会经济和开发、建设云南、缓和民族矛盾、稳定云南政局、巩固西南边陲做出了卓越的贡献。
The Mu family guarded Yunnan more than two hundred years. In the period, they had the garrison troops and emigration and refugees open up wasteland and grow food grain, paid attention to developing the water conservancy undertaking and land traffic and handicraft industry and trade, ,tried to alleviate the military and civilian＇s hardship. These measures gave positive play to recovering and developing the social economy of Yunnan, and developing and building Yunnan, and mitigating the national contradiction, and stabilizing the political situation of Yunnan, and strengthening the southwest border area of China.
