摘要
从美学意义上来分析英语广告语篇,探讨它们的美学特征及其翻译,人们注意得还不够。本文通过实例归纳出英语广告语篇的美学特征,如简洁美、修辞美、意象美、创意美等。同时提出,在翻译过程中,为了保存英语广告语篇的美学特征,既能让汉语读者广泛接受,达到商业目的,又能不破坏汉语的纯净,那么从美学的角度对这些问题加以思考,有其重要意义。
It' s a pity that people didn' t pay much attention to the aesthetic complex of English advertising and its impacts upon the strategy of advertisement translation. This article discusses that the English advertisement discourse has the aesthetic characteristics as the followings:simplicity, image -abundance, rhetorical - beauty, and its novelty. It also discusses the importance in keeping the aesthetic features of the English advertisement from the aspect of aesthetics. We should consider the demands of target - readers on one hand,and the pureness of Chinese on the other hand.
