中国汉字在数千年的延续中形成了中华民族文化中的一种既实用而又饱涵艺术特质的独特符号。它的传承和创新是当代书法艺术家与学者所面临的具有理论意义和实践意义的新课题。书法艺术的传承和创新是对我们民族文化的张扬与延伸。应正确把握这一目标,将书法艺术作为时代文化精神的一种载体,遵循民族审美情趣,创作出具有民族特色、民族气派的书法艺术精品。
In the several thousand years long history, Chinese characters has become a practical and artistic endowed unique sign among Chinese national arts. It＇s inheritance and innovation are the illumination and projection of our national culture. With this objectives in mind correctly, we can utilize calligraphic art as a vehicle for the culture of the spirit of time. While suiting the national aesthetic taste, we will create calligraphic master pieces with national characteristics and grandeur.
